Fixed- Unable To Change User Picture and Lock Screen In Windows 8

Introduction :

Windows 8 is an amazing OS even better than any previous versions of Windows OS. It’s very fast and attractive, Microsoft tried their best to make an amazing OS ever, but they still have some bugs on it (Solved In Windows 8.1). Recently I’ve got 2-3 emails about unable to change the User Picture, Lock Screen and Themes on their Windows 8 PC. It usually happens because the copy of Windows 8 that you’re using is not genuine, but in some cases windows doesn’t activate successfully and cause this error. In this tutorial, we will fix this problem, no matter the copy you’re using is Genuine or Pirated.

Why This Happens?

These are some common reasons for this error  :

• Serial Key : The serial key that you used to activate your windows is blacklisted.

• Windows Activation : Sometimes Windows doesn’t activate successfully and this is the most common bug that causes this error.

• Pirated Copy : The copy of your Windows 8 is pirated, this is also a major reason for this error. We recommend you to buy only Genuine Copy of Windows 8 for your PC and laptop.

• Activator Or Crack : Sometimes people use Activator and Cracks to activate their Windows 8 PC and get this error. Most of the Activators are small piece of virus, so we never recommend you to download those activators and cracks because they can permanently damage your PC or laptop.

How To :

The users who’s facing this error tried almost everything on their PCs and laptops, so today  I don’t want them to do anything. Just download the Rar file and extract the Fix. Just Run it as an Administrator and it’ll solve the issue automatically. You don't need to do anything, just restart your PC and then DONE.

I hope this FIX will definitely solve this issue on your Windows 8 PC.  For Demo Purpose I used an un-activated Windows 8 PC to click images.
